Safety and Cleanliness Policy

As part of our commitment to the safety and health of all our guests and employees, The Wallace adheres to the guidelines put forward by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as NY State and NYC.

Your Arrival
Safety plexiglass between you and the Front Desk service team. masks, gloves, alcohol wipes & hand sanitizer are available in key locations around the hotel.

Your Room
All guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Every surface and touch point in the room is cleaned and disinfected using EPA-approved, antimicrobial products. In support of our cleaning protocols, the remote control is sanitized and sealed following their use, vacuum cleaners are equipped with HEPA filters and our staff are mandated to wear masks. Our policy is to service all occupied guestrooms daily, however if preferred we will service rooms only upon request (no longer than three (3) continuous days between services). Guest may also request contact free delivery of any items needed or trash pick-up.

Your Common Space
Public spaces are also continuously cleaned and sanitized throughout the day. Safety protocol signage is posted and hand sanitizer dispensers are located throughout common areas. Elevator limit is four (4) unless with your party. Masks, gloves, alcohol wipes & hand sanitizer are always available

All staff are required to continue to follow the CDC preventive measures guidelines, include but not limited to face coverings, frequent hand washing, social distancing and covering coughs and sneezes to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. More preventive measures may be found on the CDC website.
